As a person? I share his disdain for religion, can't say the same about his violent tendencies though. Sure, I've fantasized many a time about decking a sonofa*squee!* right in the face, but I've never killed a man and stockpiled weapons with the intent to do serious damage, so...go, me? As a musician, I don't have much of an opinion as black metal ain't really my bag. Even so, I give him props for being such a pioneer in that genre.

I think he's pretty funny. Particularly like "Word Crimes" since I'm just about the biggest Grammar Nazi ever. x) Crate BX-100 bass amp (input jack seems to be a bit busted, will randomly buzz loudly unless the cable's angled in a specific way) 6-string Ibanez GiO (stock active pickups swapped out for passive EMGs. For whatever reason, the guy who installed the EMGs felt the need to alter the functionality of some of the tone knobs as well.) 5-string Steinberger Spirit XT-25 (usually downtuned to D standard) Boss ME-50B effects pedal (mostly use it for the limiter and for getting a "sharper" bass tone) I've also got a defretted Washburn Lyon and a Dean acoustic bass, but I hardly ever use those.
