    Edd Gould aka Eddsworld died on the morning of March 25th 2012 after 6 years of battling cancer.

    I can't believe he's dead. Today was a sad day for me and to Edd's Family and friends. I been a fan of his work since 2005, which i was in 7th grade at the time. It's sad that i will never get to see anymore of his Animated work on Newgrounds or Youtube. A Great British Animator in the UK and I hope he is happy in Heaven as well he was on Earth. Rest in Peace, Edd Gould.

    I Found out recently, he was a brony, as well. Rest in Peace, Fellow Brony. May God and Celestia watch over you.

    I feel sorry for his passing, but I honestly don't know who he is.

    Truly a sad day... I saw all of the Edd vs. cancer vids, and seeing him kick it's ass, it made me have hope for him.... truly sad when God/Allah/Whoeverthebuckyoubelievein/whateveryoudon'tbelievein takes away such good people.

    I've heard of Eddsworld, but I'm not familiar with it beyond that. It's always sad when a stranger who brings us joy passes away. :( Hopefully his legacy impacts aspiring animators in a positive way.

    Wow, that's actually very upsetting. His work was always entertaining, and he never asked for anything massive from his subscribers unlike some of the other big players on Youtube. We've lost a great guy.
