I kinda liked this. Firstly, Adam Sandler is actually doing something! There's energy, there's likability to his performance. He's doing a big, stupid Vampire voice but manages to actually be fun and carry the film well. Secondly, the animation and character design is fun, bright, eye catching and very fluid. It's expressions are fantastic, voice acting is good all round with Steve Buscemi and even Ceelo Greene. Thirdly, there's some good jokes. The old school monster stuff is fun and seems like a decent send up of the tropes. Then there's the fact that character's are given characters and it's not overly influenced by what monster they are. Which is nice. Just...I'm kinda surprised how much fun I had with it. What did the rest of you think?

I agree, that should be the noise of horror. He was right to believe his soul was being taken. I...I have a low opinion of the song.
It was a great movie overall. The VA's were great, animation was marvelous, and the plot was perfect. I didn't have any complaints about the movie. I watched it in theaters twice when it was first coming out ^^
I can't stand Adam Sandler. He and Will Ferrell are the two WORST comedians of ALL TIME. BAR NONE. However, this was a very good movie and I credit Genndy Tartakovsky for that. The reason I could tolerate Adam Sandler here is that it's not an "Adam Sandler movie", it's a movie that has Adam Sandler in it. There is a difference.
Very good movie. Sandler as Dracula instantly won me over, never knew he was so talented as voicing. This movie basically gives Sandler an excuse to be a Voice Actor for the rest of his life
Exactly. If he started doing more stuff like this, I might actually become a fan. Also, I love your sig. Dragon's Lair rules!
