An ancient evil has been unleashed on Equestria... mostly because we can never have new evils. All these whipper-snappers just don't have what it takes to be evil. As you can probably already tell, this RP is meant to be an action comedy, so feel free to unleash dry and sarcastic quips throughout the course of the story. Everything has to have comic relief. Slaughter, a dark unicorn stallion even older than Celestria, is building up his Black Army to take Equestria by force. In order to stop him, the ponies of Equestria must band together and fight the impending doom... with no more than a dozen. These dozen are to embark on an incredible journey, far away from Equestria, to seek guidance from the mighty dragon, Sage. The dragon alone can unlock the special powers of each pony. If you don't have your own pony or you just want to, you can claim one of the mane six. Rules 1) No Godmodding. Godmodding is the instance which happens when your pony a) cannot be hit by any attack, b) hits every time, and c) has too many powers for their own good. Godmodding is also the leading cause of "dissention in the ranks". I've been on several RPs in which someone started godmodding and almost got banned from the thread. 2) Be Respectful of Others. This is fairly simple. All you have to do is make sure everyone agrees on an action taken with a character before anything is done. Don't be rude. 3) Keep it PG. Don't go crazy with detail on topics we really don't want to hear about. If characters hook up, we don't want to hear about everything that happens. Also, and I'm fairly sure this is in the site rules, easy on the swearing. There are plenty of alternatives to dropping full-on cuss words in Equestria. 4) Post length. It's very difficult to RP with someone who only ever posts one sentence. With that little amount of information, it can be quite the task coming up with a response. Unless there's a conversation going on, try to post three to four sentences every time you have something to make your character say. 5) If you're going to be gone, warn somepony. It can be very frustrating for a roleplaying group when a vital member vanishes without a trace. If you're going to be gone for more than twenty-four hours, please have the courtesy to warn us with your last post that you will be gone. If it's a very long time, give someone the permission to move your character as necessary. Hometown: Ponyville Personality: He got his cutie mark from staying up until three am to watch a meteor shower when he was young and saving a foal from getting hit by a fallen rock. He saw the piece break from the meteor and, by some strange ability, knew it was going to land in the exact spot that the foal was sitting in. This happened several times, all of which happened with astrological warnings he saw in the skies before he went to bed. After he saved the fifth pony, he realized his destiny was to watch the skies at night and use his ability to predict future chaos. Galileo is very quiet and shy, but not out of fear. He acts that way because some people tend to think of his power as freak in nature. He gets along very well with Twilight Sparkle.
