So we have two versions of RD that have been quite popular among fans. First up is Super Rainbow Dash: This is the powered up version of RD, based off Goku's SSJ2 and the next form based on the SSJ3 form. This consists of a white coat, cherry red eyes, and a rainbow mane, a representation of the prism spectrum. ___________________________________________ Then there's Rainbow Power Dash: This is the form given by the Elements of harmony, the only difference being a longer mane and tail, lightning bolts on the hooves and back legs, and rainbow colored wings(this form is also considered a ripoff of the dbz series) and others claim it was a stolen idea. I like rainbow power RD the best because I like the designs and I really like the mane style better. Also, the wings just look so awesome. I almost forgot to mention because it's also canon as well.
Personally, I prefer SRD over RPRD, because i guess i'm more anime orientated and SRD relaly brings back the nostalgia.
She changed her appearance and abilities. I'd say that qualifies as a transformation. Also, unlike Super RD, Zapp is canon, which arguably makes her more qualified to be on the list.
It sort of is like a transformation when you think about it loosely. The main characters were all "transformed" into the characters from Power Ponies. Also, if any "transformation" counts, is RD's breezy transformation a valid answer? I'd have to say out of every RD transformation, Zapp might be my favorite, but I grew up on super hero comics so that could just be me.
Okay, let me point this out, I only picked two forms, because i wanted to see which would gain the most votes and popularity. On skype i was met with SRD winning by 4 points, while RPRD had only 1. So this is only based on these two transformations. So i cannot add another form.
Hey, fair enough, but we only wanted to bring up other ideas to enrich the discussion. Out of the two above, it's hard for me to say. I like the appearance of SRD because the white-on-rainbow contrast is cool, but RPD has those neat lightning bolts printed all over her. The tie breaker is really that RPD is canonical, so I guess I pick her.
I'll give it two more days, after that i'll be satisfied with the results. but i understood the they were suggestions, sorry if i came off as a little judgemental,
While a lot default to cannon since it's the more obvious choice, I'd like to give credit where credit is due. I am defiantly interested in the Super Rainbow Dash concept. It's a overused cheese concept sure, but if executed right, it can be interesting more exciting to follow. I actually do enjoy the concept and think with RD brashness, this could be possible in the fan universe since she is commonly compared to Sonic in some respects. Not to mention that a fan work can be fun to follow. I know I'm going to get some questioning raised brows for this, but opposite opinions be damned, I like the whole super form thing. Especially since I'm a major Sonic fan. Though I'm not like a lot of fan base Sonic fans. I honestly hate the fan base. Also I grew up on DBZ too... so yeah.
