I've recently given Kid Icarus on the NES a go. I read through the backstory in the instruction manual and it sounded pretty familiar. http://www.vnotesonline.com/img_art/Kid_Icarus_Manual.pdf
I came across this: http://esolangs.org/wiki/FiM++
My friend wrote a short story so we attempted to get it published. For some reason, the publishers on the Kindle Store must not read the actual book, or else there is no way it could've been published. Yet somehow, it is now available to the general public. I would link you to it, but I'd consider it as slightly NSFW.
I was looking at the sky last night and I saw some pretty weird lights. I didn't take a picture myself, since I didn't think much of it, but apparently others have seen the same thing: Strange right? I wonder what it could mean...
Some of you in the GCT may have realised that I sometimes post and then don't return for an hour or so. The answer to that is because my exams are coming up, so I've been pretty busy with revision. Also, if my parents catch me doing anything other than work, they won't be pleased. So if I have left you mid-conversation, I apologise. I can still lurk here, although I can't get into a conversation for now.
I've decided to playthrough Pokemon Platinum again. I thought it would be fun to let /vp/ roll for my pokemon team and I got: - Ditto - Wurmple - Lopunny - Giratina - Kriketune - Magikarp Note: I'm not allowed to evolve these pokemon any further. So wish me luck guys!
This is actually a more serious post (compared to my previous posts). Anyway, between season 2 and 3. I almost escaped this fandom. My youtube subscriptions seemed to be dead and I could see all the hate between bronies everywhere. However, I had made it a habit so that I automatically log onto this site whenever I open up firefox. While some bronies have been arguing, this community has always been very friendly in comparison. I've loved every second of my time here. I seemed to have lost my drive to enjoy ponies, since I'm not one to re-watch episodes, I'm not a huge follower of fanfics, RPs or art and not much new content was put out in the music side of the fandom. The thing that kept me here was this community. I said to myself that I'd not give up on ponies until season 3 at least. So the season 3 premiere arrived and while I was waiting for the livestream to start, I felt this feeling that reminded me of when I first saw MLP. I somehow got excited, even though I had no feeling towards season 3 before. Suddenly, this brony passion emerged from me, the same feeling I used to get whenever a new episode used to come out. So I'd like to thank you guys for being an awesome community and for keeping me in this fandom. TL;DDR: I almost stopped liking ponies, but now I like ponies. You guys are to blame for that
Yeah, that's right. I got mugged. I was quite suprised, since I live in a friendly little place and I live a very boring, but nice, life. But I still got mugged in broad daylight. At least I know who the criminal was... a vending machine. I put a pound in the machine, but it just dropped straight into the change compartment. I then tried again and the machine accepted it. But then none of the buttons would work. I tried to press the change button, but it didn't work either. So basically, I lost £1 today to a machine that ate my money. I should have said something about it, but I didn't and now it's too late. The point of this thread is that you should do something about bullying. Don't just let them eat your money and not give you your money back when they don't give you what you payed for. Even if the bully is bigger than you, they can still be taken down. It's too late for me to do anything, it happened already, I have no proof and that vending machine has a pretty decent reputation. However, if I had decided to do something straight away, he may've not gotten away with his act of evil. Although other than that, my day was pretty good.
So I was working in my parents' shop and it was a pretty slow day. An hour had passed and we had about 2 customers. I was on my own, since the last staff member had left for the day and my parents went to go buy something. I only had about 2 hours of the day left, but it felt like 10 hours. But then, with around 30 minutes left, a girl around my age walked in. She walked over to the drinks section, bought a bottle of coke and went to the counter to pay. I said that you could buy 2 bottles for £1.50. So she thanked me, grabbed another bottle and then payed for it. She then asked me what my name was, to which I responded "Bhavin, how about you?" She replied "Annie." We then got into a nice conversation. It turns out that she was new to this area, and she'd be joining my school when half-term ends. It turns out that she'd also be doing similar subjects to me and she was actually a brony (she didn't really like the term pegasister). So after spending a while talking to her, it was almost time to shut the shop. Then, at that moment, a man wearing a balaclava broke the window and entered the shop. He then told me to hand over the money, which I reluctantly did. He then hit Annie around the back of the head and she fell to the ground. I rushed next to her and saw the bloodstains on the carpet. When I looked back, the man had gone. I phoned the police and waited next to Annie. Eventually, she was starting to regain consciousness. She asked "What happened?" That's when I said "Annie are you okay?" "Are you okay, Annie" "You've been hit by-" "You've struck by-" "A smooth criminal!"

My Raspberry Pi arrived today. For those of you that don't know, it's basically a small desktop PC (the motherboard is the size of a credit card). Anyone getting one of these, or has been interested in getting one?
A couple of days ago, my friend gave me this: So I guess that it counts as merchandise. So all was fine and dandy, until I turned the tin: THEY SPELT FLUTTERSHY WRONG! Still, I count this as a success.
Okay, not really. My dream was basically the same as any ordinary day, but I had Coco Pops for breakfast instead. Yup, that's how boring my dreams are. And to make it worse, we didn't have Coco Pops so I couldn't eat them in real life. I see other people dream about interesting stuff and I sometimes wonder what my life would be like if I had some imagination.
Okay the title doesn't really work. But anyway, recently I've realised that my new signature doesn't tell the truth anymore. And since I can't decide on what to put, I've decided to let the public decide. Whatever is in the first comment, I will put in my signature (as long as it abides by the rules). Have fun!
Long story short, yesterday I went to see Olympic Boxing in the ExCel (which was why I dissapeared for 2 days). I noticed that when the crowd were cheering and clapping, they were also stamping their feet on the ground to make more noise. I noticed this and then remembered how ponies show their appreciation: And that's when it hit me, Equestria is the future of planet Earth. Slowly, humans will turn into cartoon ponies and learn to love and tolerate each other. This is the start of a bright future for us all. Anyway, what do you guys think about this?
